Programming Internship with Xykon
Xykon is seeking enthusiastic, highly-motivated, candidate for a part-time web development internship to support our development projects in Washington, DC. The intern will play a key role in helping Xykon deliver new web applications and contribute to our internet communications strategy. We are requesting a twenty-four to forty-hour work week, and a stipend is available. The start and end dates are flexible, and we are seeking at least a three month-long commitment.
Th intern will work on Linux Servers and learn the latest in website and software development.
The intern will also receive early exposure to clients. Tasks include programming, web development, technical writing, leading trainings (will be trained first), and troubleshooting software. Some PHP, HTML, a
and SQL knowledge is required. CSS knowledge is a plus. (An engineering mentor will be provided)
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Networking and Telecommunication Engineering students preferred.
Pay is commensurate with knowledge and experience
At least 3 days a week ( 24 hours a week - Hours are flexible)
If the candidate can work more hours that is a plus - but not expected.
